There is an interesting verse in Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing. Many people look at God in the Old Testament and say, "He was … Continue reading Yeshua Sings and Dances Over Us – Focus 14

God is Faithful – Focus 12
Of all of God's character traits or names, His faithfulness is one I can testify to more than any other. He's been faithful to love me, lead me, speak truth to me, provide for me, and more and more and more. Abba shared the following with me in November 2012: I AM Faithful and I … Continue reading God is Faithful – Focus 12
The LORD, Whose Name is Jealous – Focus 11
Week after week as we focus on Who our God is, this name, "Jealous," often draws negative response. I once heard a well-known personality say they couldn't worship a jealous God. I wish I could find the quote and give it to you exactly, but it startled me enough when they said it, I remembered. … Continue reading The LORD, Whose Name is Jealous – Focus 11
He is Our Great Defender, Our Shield – Focus 10
For years, Psalm 3:3 has been a favorite verse. I learned it as a child in the King James Version and it's the one engraved on my heart: But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. It wasn't until I began studying the Hebrew meaning … Continue reading He is Our Great Defender, Our Shield – Focus 10
What Are the Goodness and Mercy of God? – Focus 9

Truth–What is it? Focus – 6
Truth isn’t easy to find these days with all the fake news and the stands many are taking in opposition God’s word. There no longer seems to be black and white but only grey. But Truth falls in the black and white category. Things are either true or they are not. So, what is the … Continue reading Truth–What is it? Focus – 6
How God Works – Focus 5
The word 'WORKS' has a bad reputation in many circles of Christianity. Often grace is put up against it as a contender for God's best. Still, Yeshua said in His sermon on the mount: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew … Continue reading How God Works – Focus 5
The Word of the LORD is Right – Focus 4
Last week as I wrote about the power of God's word, Holy Spirit sent me to Psalm 33. As I wrote then, He stopped me on verse 4 and started speaking to me prophetically. Today we are going to take a look at the first part of that verse. For the word of the LORD … Continue reading The Word of the LORD is Right – Focus 4
