As I spent time with the Lord this morning, He spoke this brief word to me and then led me to key scriptures to read out loud over and over. I believe I am not the only one who needs these right now.

I want to develop peace in you that is unshakeable. Anxiety, fear, worry, and dread still have voices you are responding to. I want you to respond to only ME–your Prince of Peace.
Read these over daily– out loud.
Colossians 3:15 AMPC And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].
Philippians 4:7 NKJV And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
John 16:33 AMPC I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
John 14:27 AMPC Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]
Isaiah 54:10 ESV For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
Isaiah 54:5 AMPC For your Maker is your Husband—the Lord of hosts is His name—and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth He is called.

God told me to come back to NYC….. I did…..but my job has been acting up and I haven’t been able to get any in my field so I had to come to the shelter ….. have been in here for 7 months now, I have gotten my voucher but have not been able to get anyone who accept it for an apartment…..it expires in 3months…..plz guys keep me in your prayers I don’t want to be here anymore…..am being harassed…..both male and female staffs comes into the room without all me to cover up n it seems ok to them and last nyt because I locked the door in to protect my privacy when I get dress they destroyed my locked and put my things out the room to another room where I have no fan n we all know how hot it’s ryt now….plz keep me in your prayers i really need to settle now….they said their housing specialists is not responsible for applying for housing for us we have to do that ourselves…..

These are trying circumstances to be sure. Ask the Lord to show you where He is in all of it? Ask Him what He is trying to reveal to you about Himself that you’ve never seen before. All of our trials are doorways to deeper revelation of our God. As you put your eyes on Him instead of the circumstances, you will discover freedom from worry and peace in the storm. My prayers are with you.
