God is Faithful – Focus 12

Of all of God’s character traits or names,  His faithfulness is one I can testify to more than any other.  He’s been faithful to love me, lead me, speak truth to me, provide for me, and more and more and more.

Abba shared the following with me in November 2012:

I AM Faithful and I will show Myself faithful again and again in these last days.  My Faithfulness will no longer be questioned.  It will reach the skies.

My faithfulness is seen in times of great trial and delayed blessing.  I am not a god that lies.  I will do all I have said I will do on your behalf and on the behalf of all who call Me Lord.

Fear not.  Don’t allow the enemy to bring distrust. What I’ve said, Who I am, — will not change.  Trust and obey and you will see the salvation of your God.

Nothing is too hard for Me, NOTHING.  I can raise up and disintegrate at will.  Stand still and see the salvation of your God.  I will show Myself faithful.  Rejoice your redemption draws nigh.

We have some idea what faithful means, but there is more to uncover.  The first use of this word faithful as it relates to God is found in Deuteronomy 7:9:  “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments…”

Later David declares in Psalm 36:5, Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens;  Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

And in 1 John 1:9, John writes, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Faithful is Strong’s #539 and it looks like this faithfulʼâman, aw-man’; a primitive root; (Isaiah 30:21; to go to the right hand) properly, to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse; figuratively to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain;:—hence, assurance, believe, bring up, establish, fail, be faithful (of long continuance, stedfast, sure, surely, trusty, verified), nurse, (-ing father), (put), trust, turn to the right.

Let’s look at the meaning of the letters, reading from right to left:

Aleph 1= God – Echad – Unity, Unique (no other like it) Means: Ox head—Strength or Leader, Most Important, FirstThe Strength and Power of the leader

Mem 40= Trial, Testing, Tribulation.  Means Womb, Water from the womb, Cleansing water, flowing water that brings life, Mighty, Massive Chaos, Humility, taking the low place, hidden relationship with God, Cleansing water, flowing water that brings life.

Final Nun 700 = Fulfillment of Prophecy. Means: Life or Action

God is Faithful—He is unlike any other, a strong and powerful Leader who is Mighty but Humble, fulfilling prophecy (His word) and bringing forth life.

His word is life—Philippians 2:14-16  Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Joshua 21:45  Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.

Joshua 23:14 “Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.

1 Kings 8:23-25  “and he said: “Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts. 24 You have kept what You promised Your servant David my father; You have both spoken with Your mouth and fulfilled it with Your hand, as it is this day.

Psalm 89:1, 8  I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations…O Lord God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O Lord?  Your faithfulness also surrounds You.

Hebrews 10:22-24  let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Over and over, God has fulfilled His word to me, even when I’ve waited decades to see it manifest.

As you go through this week, remind yourself of God’s faithfulness and be on the lookout for more.  Our God is FaithFULL.  We can trust Him to  fulfill His word and brings forth life in and through us.

When all is said and done we too will be able to see and declare Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. Revelation 19:11

Shalom ♥
