As I illustrated in the introduction of this series, the armor of God doesn't look like the armor of a Roman soldier. Instead, it resembles the everyday clothing of a priest in the Temple. The other thing you may not know is Temple priests did not wear shoes. They were barefoot. This being the case, what does … Continue reading What Does it Mean to Shod Your Feet with the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace? Armor of God – Part 4

What is the Belt of Truth? Armor of God-Part 2
As I told you yesterday, putting on the armor of God is different than putting on military protection. Today we will begin our piece by piece look at what God is asking us to wear. The first piece of armor is the Belt of Truth. In our world of fake news, opinions, and so much deception, … Continue reading What is the Belt of Truth? Armor of God-Part 2
Messiah’s Marriage Proposal and the Passover Seder
Leviticus 23:2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations (rehearsals), these are My feasts. Did you know as a believer in Yeshua, regardless of your ethnicity, you are part of the Passover celebration? 12 Amazing Similarities Between Jesus and the Passover Lamb
Passover begins this year on April 12th, at sundown. Many do not know that Passover illustrates the sacrifice of The Passover Lamb--the crucifixion of Jesus. The first Passover lamb was slain during the dark times in Egypt marked. This event marked the beginning of the Exodus, which delivered the Israelites from slavery. There’s Still Power in the Blood
Like many of you, I've been praying, asking God how He wanted me to respond to the stay-at-home order we are asked to follow. My question to Him, "Abba, is there something I can write that will help others lift their eyes to You?" A few mornings ago, I woke up with this phrase, "The … Continue reading There’s Still Power in the Blood
The LORD’s Counsel
Holy Spirit has been taking me to Psalms each morning and speaking to me out of them. On Wednesday Psalm 33 was His choice. God Has the Operations Manual for Our Times
God's word is timeless. He gave me this in 2014 and it still holds weight today in our crazy upside-down world of the coronavirus: "You are stepping into new territory. You’ve never been this way before. What has worked in the past, will no longer suffice. You must come to Me for supplies and instructions. … Continue reading God Has the Operations Manual for Our Times
God is GOOD
I love it when Holy Spirit leads Bible Study. Two weeks ago, we looked at this verse and the word highlighted was ‘trusts.’ Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! When we looked into the Hebrew spelling and its meaning, we discovered it … Continue reading God is GOOD
He Came Quiet
On December 1, 2019, I wrote these words. Lord, give me the words to sing Your song. Give me the words to tell Your story. The wind blows cold rattling the windows and pushing through the gap under the doorway. The grey dismal world shows little signs of hope or warmth. Yet, now, in this … Continue reading He Came Quiet
