There’s Still Power in the Blood

red-grunge-vector-free-backgroundsLike many of you, I’ve been praying, asking God how He wanted me to respond to the stay-at-home order we are asked to follow.  My question to Him, “Abba, is there something I can write that will help others lift their eyes to You?”

A few mornings ago, I woke up with this phrase, “The Power of the Blood.” I completely forgot the message I shared in 2017 by this very title, but when I went to my files, there it was.

Here is the video of the first part of this message and I will complete this blog with the text for the second part.  (When we were filming that day, the battery on the camera died about two-thirds through. This blog is longer than normal, but I pray you watch and read it all.) Watch the video and then read the text below.

In Hebrews 11:27-28 it says:

By faith he (Moses) forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. 28 BY FAITH HE KEPT THE PASSOVER AND THE SPRINKLING OF BLOOD, LEST HE WHO DESTROYED THE FIRSTBORN SHOULD TOUCH THEM.

Faith lives in two places.. In our Hearts and in our Mouths

Romans 10:9-10  If you confess with your MOUTH the Lord Jesus and believe in your HEART God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

We do not need to take a defensive stand against the enemy.  He has to take a defensive stand against us.  Because we already have the victory.  Our lives and all we have are already under the blood in victory.  We need to take a stand in reminding him that he lost the battle.

“I hold the blood of Jesus against you.    This is not a prayer but a declaration.

We can send him packing.  Fear, sickness, threat, financial pressure, depression, negative thinking, anything that looks or smells like the enemy can be pushed out by the blood of Jesus.

Colossians 2:10-15 tells us who we are. “you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.  11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

God woke me up one night and said, “Passover is a love feast.”  When we celebrate Passover we are celebrating His amazing love for us.  Every time we take communion, we are celebrating Passover anew.  In the unleavened bread and cup of wine, we have provision beyond our imagination:

There’s Life and power to raise the dead

There’s forgiveness and power to remit sin

Healing and power to heal

Deliverance and power to deliver

Miracles and power to do miracles

Entrance into the Holy of holies.

Relationship with Abba God

1 Corinthians 11:23-32  For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner, He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body30 For this reason, many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep

To eat and drink in an unworthy manner—what does this mean?

  1. Not discerning the Lord’s body
  2. Not realizing/believing He paid for my sin – His blood
  3. Not accepting His full forgiveness – His blood
  4. Not accepting His full acceptance
  5. Not receiving the healing made available to us through His stripes
  6. Not believing we are worthy – In Him we are worthy

Remember, Jesus has paid the price for our sin.  He took our judgment on Himself.

Our part—come in thanksgiving, humility, and worship and be strengthened in Him.

Do this in remembrance of Me.

Remember who you are because of what I’ve already done for you. Worship, praise, thanksgiving, and celebration.

John 6:48-58  I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

52 The Jews, therefore, quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”

53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

He came to give us LIFE – there is Life in His blood

The ministry of Jesus today, comes through His Body — Wonder-working miracles and signs.

Exodus 4:21 And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go.”

Satan is not God in America.  Jesus is Lord, Jesus is King in America.  We will begin to see this demonstrated. (I believe this 2017 message is as much for today as it was then.  I believe we are about to see it demonstrated in ways the world has never known, today in 2020.)

Many will see and fear the Lord. Others will look upon what the Lord is doing not understand Him.  They will see, fear, and tremble.  But for sons and daughters prepared, we will be gathered into a baptism of intimacy, and power. God has prepared us to minister life and hope in this season.

I looked up the word Prepare:

Isaiah 40:3“Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.

Malachi 3:1  “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple (that’s we believers), Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts

PreparePrepare <6437> Hey, Nun, Pey to turn, to face, appear, mark, prepare, regard, return, have respect, turn back, turn away, turn aside.

Bottom Line:  To PREPARE is to speak into existence a new governmental order, bringing restoration and life by revelation and grace.

Reformation has begun.  Many are already experiencing this.  We are passing over into a level of intimacy and identity we’ve never seen before.  We are again walking through the Door He gave us and entering into Oneness with Him as never before.

Let’s pause now to celebrate all God has given us.  Let us pause to remember who we are because of the blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 9:11-14  But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

In this season of shutdowns, confinement, and uncertainty… let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22And Let us, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

As we come in repentance and humility, let’s thank God for the blood, receive His forgiveness, pick up our assignments and do His will as never before.  The world is still looking for a Savior and He lives in us.  Let’s partner with Holy Spirit and RE-present Him to our world.

Shalom ♥

  1. Thank you so very much for this reminder, I drive city bus and that’s one thing I do is plead the blood of Jesus over my bus. I claim the blood on my door but no disease no plague shall come in my bus. Thank you for reminding but there’s still Power in the Blood.

    • Amen Deb. The blood never loses its power and He means for us to apply it. Some of the greatest deliverances I’ve seen have happened when we applied the blood. Keep doing what you are doing. God bless you.
