I was spending time with the Lord this morning and asking Him to prepare our hearts for what is before us. This was His response:
“You are prepared—IN ME. I will lead you step by step and line by line. I am familiar with all your ways and I have a tailor-made path for you. Keep your eyes on Me. Sing your praises and let Me transform you into My image—(Romans 8:29)—Free, at Rest, Full of faith and hope. There’s NOTHING to fear, Beloved. Look to Me and LIVE.
Keep loving even when it wars against your flesh. None of you are perfect. All of you have blind spots. Judge not. Call upon Me and My will, and let Me lead you. Let go of control and experience LIFE. The choice is yours, but I will always show you My will.
Even though it looks foreboding or unpleasant, come to Me. You will never be alone. There are treasures in the darkness.
Fear Not. Fear shuts down our communication. Faith and Trust keep the lines open for instructions.”
Then He led me to Psalm 44:1-8
We have heard with our ears, O God,
Our fathers have told us the deeds You did in their days,
In days of old:
2 You drove out the nations with Your hand,
But them You planted;
You afflicted the peoples, and cast them out.
3 For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them;
But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them.
4 You are my King, O God; command victories for Jacob.
5 Through You, we will push down our enemies;
Through Your name, we will trample those who rise up against us.
6 For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me.
7 But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us.
8 In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah
Join me in this prayer and declaration:
Holy Spirit, please bring to mind the words I need to declare in the moment. Help me continually bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Lord, it’s no longer I that lives but You who live in me. (Galatians 2:20)
Your Word is my plumb line. (Amos 7:7-8)
Your counsel is my guide. (Isaiah 48:17)
I thank You that You are conforming me into Your image. (Romans 8:29)
I can trust You to complete the work You’ve begun in me until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6)
Thank You, Lord.
Shalom ♥
