As I sat with the Lord this morning, praying for our nation and all the upheaval taking place, I heard this scripture: Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with you; The God of Jacob is your refuge. Selah

I personalized this scripture out of Psalm 46:10-11, but He is assuring us that the God who is in charge of the angel armies of heaven, the Creator of heaven and earth, the Great I AM has everything in His hands.

Note too that He isn’t waffling in His declarations. “I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

There are words God speaks that will manifest if we repent, pray, trust, etc. And then there are words that are rock solid sure. This is a rock solid word.

But, let’s back up. Be Still. While this can mean stop, rest, be silent, etc., when we look at the letters in Hebrew here is what it means:

So, pray in faith. Fear not. Relax in His faithfulness and continue to stand in peace knowing He is at work.
