I woke up this morning with a song playing in my spirit:
“I believe You are — The way, the truth, the life, I believe You are…”
(“I Believe You Are” by Housefires)
When I came into my prayer room, I asked, “Lord, do You want me to share anything today?”
“Yes, justice.”
I knew I was to look up words He’s shared with me about justice and when I came to this one from March 2014, I knew it is what I am to share with you.
“I am faithful. This has been your declaration for years now, but you’ve barely scratched the surface of My faithfulness.
Fear not, for I AM with you, with this nation, with the church. Those who have been asleep will awaken. I will shake them awake with circumstances and happenings beyond their understanding. All things are in My hand. All things. Your only security is in Me, not in things or alliances with any other. I am God and I do not lie. Trust Me. We are going to the other side.
Your ways are not My ways and soon you will discover My justice and My mercy in ways you’ve never seen before.
My plans for you and for this nation are for good and not for evil to give you hope and a future.
America is not done. America has yet a role to play in birthing the Kingdom of God on this earth. The world has watched your decline and laughed, but it will also see you rise from the ashes in humility and beauty.
My Bride, My Bride, My American Bride, Wake up! Your Deliverer is on His way. In the midst of the storm, I will come unseen to set you free. Listen for My voice, it is the voice of many waters. Draw near in faith. I will not lie and I will not leave you.
Pray in faith and believe.”
It is a joy for the just to do justice, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. Proverbs 21:15
