On August 22, 2020, I saw Jesus in a vision and heard a word from the Lord. I shared it with a few of my intercessor friends but am prompted to share it now publicly.

Jesus was standing in front of a white board drawing out plays for a football team. He was showing the players where the opposing teams’ favorite moves were and how to cut them off at the pass.

“Beloved, rest assured that all things are in My hands. I do know the plans of the enemy, but he does not know My plans. You must keep your eyes on me and follow My instructions. Logic does not play a part. Feelings do not play a part.I have a hail Mary pass that will surprise all of you. Its success will be based on your willingness to do what I tell you when I tell you. It’s a divine dance and I know every step.”

“Worry and fret will cause you to react with your own moves, but they will not lead to success. Follow My lead, remember Whose you are, and remember only in Me will you truly live and move and have your being in joy, in peace, and in love. This dance is far from over. In fact, it has only begun. Your hand in Mine, eyes on Me, Smile. Shall we dance?”

Then, I was prompted to open up one of my prophetic binders and immediately it fell open to this word—It is a word I got in September 2016.

We Are in the Middle of a Holy Chess Game

I was in prayer one morning in September 2016, when Holy Spirit started speaking to me about a chess game. I believe we are in the middle of it now.

“There’s never been a time like this before. That each piece has been weighed and measured with digital precision. Nothing out of sync. Nothing without purpose. Each move calculated and then checkmate.“

“What does that mean Holy Spirit? Checkmate? I know it means one wins and the other loses but what does it mean to Your Body?”

“I am moving the pieces with holy intent. The enemy is trying to outmaneuver this way and that, but he is finding it difficult for a full assault.I am leaving him in a series of moves that look promising to him but his giddy enthusiasm turns his attention to only one part of the board.“

“Just when you think he’s got the upper hand I will deal My hand–Checkmate!“

“What is our part?”

“Prayers of agreement and thanksgiving that I am in control. I’m in control and have the victory. Repentance for yourselves and your nation. Your hands must be clean for the harvest that is coming. Prepare your hearts for complete trust in Me. You will need unwavering faith for the days ahead. All that you need is at your disposal waiting for a faith-filled request. I will lead you but you must follow to receive the blessing. There won’t be time to second-guess or wait for a committee vote.“

Psalm 2:1-6 — No power can overpower God

“Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed saying,
3 “Let us break their bonds in pieces
And cast away their cords from us.”

4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
6 “Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”

Psalm 33:10-11— God’s plans prevail over any others

“The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.
11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
The plans of His heart to all generations.“

May we all join in intercession for God’s will to manifest and all of the plans of the enemy to fail.
