God offers this promise: I will set him on high. David knew God was faithful to this word. He’d experienced it in his own life.
He wrote in 2 Samuel 22:49: He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man.
So let’s see what we can discover. I WILL SET HIM ON HIGH is Strong’s #7682 
and it looks like this: It is a primitive root and it is pronounced ‘saw gav.’ It means to be or make lofty, inaccessible, safe, strong or to exalt.
= Shin 300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit. Means: Teeth, Fire, the Fire of God to consume all His enemies, Devour, Destroy, Something Sharp.
= Gimmel 3 = Divine perfection. Means Camel- Generous Rich man—To lift up and to Give, to Benefit, to Toil, to Retaliate
= Bet 2 = Divide or Division Meaning: House/Family
I WILL SET HIM ON HIGH: I (God) will Consume your enemies (Shin) and Lift you Up in Retaliation (Gimmel). I will clearly establish that you are in My Family (Bet).
BECAUSE HE HAS KNOWN is the next phrase and it is Strong’s #3045. It looks like this: 
It is pronounced ‘yaw-dah’ (the a in dah is pronounced like in dad) It is a primitive root and it means to know, to learn, to perceive, to discern, to experience, to confess, to consider, to know people relationally, or to know how to do something.
The simple meaning, to know, is its most common translation out of the eight hundred or more uses. One of the primary uses means to know relationally and it especially signifies knowing what to do or think with respect to God.
Let’s see what the letters tell us:
= Yod 10 = The outcome, the completion of something. Means: Hand, Arm, Power – Right hand of God’s power, a Deed Done, to Work, to Cover, Allow, Hollow, Open Hand
= Dallet 4 = Earth or creation. Means: Door, Gate, Impoverished man, to come from

My NAME is the last thing we will look at for now. It comes from Strong’s #8034 and it looks like this: 
It is pronounced ‘Ha shem,’ and it means a name. It is most often used in Hebrew by present-day Jews for God’s name. They substitute God’s official name, Yahweh with Hashem to avoid using His holy name.
= Shin 300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit. Means: Teeth, Fire, the Fire of God to consume all His enemies, Devour, Destroy, Something Sharp.
= closed Mem 600 = Trial, testing, Tribulation. Means: A closed Mem means Hidden Truth

Because we have completely separated ourselves to God, cutting off the enemy influence in our lives and living in holiness as one of God’s chosen ones,
God says, I will deliver you. I will exercise My authority and say, you are under new government, My authority. And I will judge the enemy who is twisting truth.
I, God, will set you on high. I will consume your enemies, lift you up in retaliation, and clearly establish that you are in My family.
Because you have cooperated with Me and worked to come out the door of your impoverished man mentality, to see and understand Me and allow Me to be seen in you, you have discovered the hidden truth and power of My name. You see now that I am the ultimate victor over your enemies and are trusting Me. (Trust is understood from us knowing Him).

i thank you so much for sharing your study of Psalm 91. I was given this chapter some months ago and always wanted to understand what the Lord was saying. I’ve seen from your study how much the Father truly loves his children who will come and abide with Him.

As I personally dove into the Hebrew understanding of this chapter, I discovered so much about His love and care and knew it needed to be shared. May we all learn to abide with Him. Thank you for sharing…. Going through a heavy trial of 9 of my children who rejected me after I divorced their abusive dad. He has brainwashed their minds and hearts… deception is so strong … I needed to be encouraged today and know that God will deliver them… He is a sociopath! 20 long years in this battle ….
