In April 2013, I was thanking God for His call on my life and asking Him to continue to wash me with His Word and His Spirit so that His will could be done in and through me.

Moments later, He began speaking: “It’s only just begun Beloved.  The fields are white ready for harvest.  Let him who thrusts in his sickle do it with all his might and reap while the day lasts for the night will soon come when no one can work.”

John 9:4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.

Romans 13:11-14  And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

 “I have sent you to do the works of Him who sent you.  You are My hands, My feet, My love expressed to this world.  Don’t hold back.  Don’t debate with the voices of weakness and accusation in your mind.  Bring every thought captive and put on the whole armor.  It is a day of battle and the script is already written for your victory.  Step onto the stage and take on the role of Your King.  I am sending you to do this final harvest for My Kingdom.  It will be more than you can do.  All of your time, energy and resources will be poured out like water on a thirsty land.  I am your supply.” 

“Don’t look to another for no other has what is needed for this hour.  Your bank account, your assets, your gifts, and talents are as marbles in the hands of a child.  Without My guidance, without My hand to guide and teach you, all of your marbles will tumble out of your unskilled fingers and you will lose.”

“Come to Me often.  I have the strategy, the resources and the network you need to see the visions I’ve given you come to life in Technicolor.  But, you must come to Me first.  There is no other to supply what you need.  All other provision will frustrate and entangle you.  Come to Me.  The supply stands ready with your name on it.”

“When I spoke the Malachi scripture about bringing all your tithes to My storehouse and said that I will pour out an immeasurable blessing, the tithes were not just money.  I want a tithe of your time.  I want a tithe of your companionship.  I want a tithe of your pleasure, your gifts, and talents.”

“Draw near.  Draw near, the more you give into My storehouse of your time and energy—setting aside your pleasures, I will pour out riches untold.  Every need supplied.  Every question answered and every vision clear.”

“No good thing will I withhold to those who walk uprightly.  Come, learn of Me.  My yoke is easy and My burden is light.  The place of rest, the grace to do My work in complete joy and peace, can only be found as you set aside the ways of the world and come to Me.”

“Rejoice.  The day of harvest is here.  You are My laborers, My children of light.  Come to Me for your assignments and go forth knowing your victory is assured.”

I believe that Pentecost this year marked the beginning of a new season of harvest.  May each of us prepare ourselves.

Proverbs 2:1-8 AMP

My son, if you will receive my words
And treasure my commandments within you,
² So that your ear is attentive to [skillful and godly] wisdom,
And apply your heart to understanding [seeking it conscientiously and striving for it eagerly];
³ Yes, if you cry out for insight,
And lift up your voice for understanding;
⁴ If you seek skillful and godly wisdom as you would silver
And search for her as you would hidden treasures;
⁵ Then you will understand the [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome]
And discover the knowledge of God.
⁶ For the Lord gives [skillful and godly] wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
⁷ He stores away sound wisdom for the righteous [those who are in right standing with Him];
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity [those of honorable character and moral courage],
⁸ He guards the paths of justice;
And He preserves the way of His saints (believers).
