In March 2009, my husband and I had moved to California in obedience to God’s call.  We were living with relatives there and waiting for an offer to be approved we’d made on a home.  After a month of waiting and not hearing anything, I was crying out to God for understanding.  Here is part of our conversation:

(I submit this not to shine a light on me, but to glorify Him—let Him speak these words to YOU.  He doesn’t play favorites. 😊)

“Keep your eyes on Me—not on the negotiations and red tape.  If you watch the shenanigans of the bank.  You will only lose heart.  Eyes on Me.  I can move mountains of red tape with a whisper.  No fear, your God is here and on task for your home.”sale 18:33

 What am I to declare, Lord?  What is my confession?

“Declare this: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  My time is in His hands.  My God is looking over His word to perform it.  He is working all things together for my good.”

Lord, You do all things well.  You are never late and You are always looking out for my best interests.  You comfort me and lift me up above all my enemies of fear and doubt with your Presence and Your words to me.  I‘ve never met anyone like You.  You are the only ONE—My One and Only true love.  No earthly love can compare with the love I have for You, My wonderful Lord. You counsel me, correct me, rescue me, heal me, teach me and lavish me with gifts of love chosen with such care.  I love You, Lord.  I love you.  I LOVE YOU!!

“Ditto, Beloved.”

Ditto?  How can that be?

“There is no love like yours, My bride.  I made you uniquely and creatively, unduplicated.  You are the only one who can love Me as you do. Each of My children brings a unique treasure of love to My heart.  Your treasure is pure and shining with love.

Thank you for loving Me.  Many in this world don’t.  You have spent your life in search of love and how to love Me and others.  Watch and see what I will do.”

Lord, love often pours from vessels crushed by life – am I to be crushed to bring love?

“Beloved, you have died and your life is hidden with Me in God.  Fear not.  Stay in the present and trust Me.  All things work together for good for those who love Me and are called by Me to do My will.  I will never leave you or forsake you.  Keep the eyes of your heart on Me.”

Lord, I’m hesitant to write more.  I feel as if I’m falling into a pit and I don’t want to look at it.  I am afraid to see.

“Fear not, for I am with you.  There is always light when you are with Me.  What the enemy means for evil will be turned to good – a treasure unequaled.  Fear not, Trust me.

 We are going to dance on the high places of trials and fears and gain victory over every foe hearts will be turned to Me.

 Yes, you will dance but not necessarily as you envisioned.  Your dance is one of childlike faith and joy.  Your dance is with feet that follow Me without fear, feet that move in rhythm with My own.  We will dance Beloved.  We will dance.  It’s a metaphor—simple childlike steps.”

Psalm 18:33 He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places.  

Habakkuk 3:19 The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.
