This treasure hunt in Song of Solomon 5 is quite a revelation.  Let’s wrap it up today with verse 16.

 

 

 

 

His mouth is most sweet: yea, He is altogether lovely. This is my Beloved, and this is my Friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. Song of Solomon 5:16Our first word to consider in this verse is MOUTH.

MOUTH  Strong’s #2441 from the primary root #2596  חָנַךְ chânak, khaw-nak’; a primitive root; properly, to narrow; figuratively, to initiate or discipline:—dedicate, train up.

Here are the letters:

Chet  8 = New Beginnings. Means: Fence, Gate, Tent wall to Separate, Protect, Cut off. Torah

Nun  50 = Restoration, Holy Spirit, Jubilee. Means: Life or Action

Kaf  20 = Anointing of the hand on the head, Redemption. Means: To Bend Down, Surrender, Palm of the Hand, Wing – Good works with our hand in Yeshua

The mouth of our Bridegroom King is declaring a New Beginning and giving boundaries to Separate and Protect us.  He is restoring Life as God intended and anointing us for Good Works in Him. 

The Shulamite speaks of His mouth being SWEET.

SWEET Strong’s #4477 from primary root #4985  מָתַק mâthaq, maw-thak’; a primitive root; to suck, by implication, to relish, or (intransitively) be sweet:—be or made sweet.

Reading from right to left:

Mem 40= Trial, Testing, Tribulation. Means Womb, Water from the womb, Cleansing water, flowing water that brings life, Mighty, Massive Chaos, Humility, taking the low place, hidden relationship with God, Cleansing water, flowing water that brings life.

Tav 400 = the Outcome of Trial and Testing.  Picture: a Rough Cross.  Means: Cross, Covenant, Seal, Mark, a Sign, Ownership, Finished or Complete.

Qof 100 = Election of God’s chosen ones, set apart as holy. Means: Holiness, Consecrated, Divide, sun on horizon, Back of the Head, Make a Complete Circle, End of a Cycle, Final, Behind, Dome

The word SWEET reveals what He’s gone through.  

His mouth speaks SWEET words because He’s gone through Trials and Testing and His character has been cultivated in a Hidden Relationship with God in Humility.  The outcome of His trials and Testing Marked Him as a Son of Covenant, Chosen and Set Apart, a Son of Holiness, Consecrated in full to God alone. 

The next description is He is altogether LOVELY:

LOVELY Strong’s #4261  from primary root #2530  חָמַד châmad, khaw-mad’; a primitive root; to delight in:—beauty, greatly beloved, covet, delectable thing, (× great) delight, desire, goodly, lust, (be) pleasant (thing), precious (thing).

How we love the word Beloved and often Elohim calls us His Beloved when He speaks to us.  Let’s see what this name really means.

BELOVED Strong’s primary root #1730  דּוֹד dôwd, dode; or (shortened) דֹּד dôd; from an unused root meaning properly, to boil, i.e. (figuratively) to love; by implication, a love-token, lover, friend; specifically an uncle:—(well-) beloved, father’s brother, love, uncle.

Dallet  4 =  Earth or creation.  Means: Door, Gate, Impoverished man, to come from

Vav  6 =  Man. Means: Nail or Hook, to Secure, Pin together, Connect -Yeshua

Yeshua is the Door for All Impoverished men of the Earth to come through.  When we come Through Him, He Secures and Reconnects  us to Heaven and Abba Himself.  

[This is pure Love.  Mercy, Forgiveness, Sanctification, all exemplified through Him.  When He calls us Beloved, I believe it’s because He sees us Redeemed and and totally Loved.]

He is not only Beloved to us, He is our FRIEND:

  FRIEND Strong’s  #7453 from primary root #7462  רָעָה râʻâh, raw-aw’; a primitive root; to tend a flock; i.e. pasture it; intransitively, to graze (literally or figuratively); generally to rule; by extension, to associate with (as a friend),  break, companion, keep company with, devour, eat up, evil entreat, feed, use as a friend, make friendship with, herdman, keep (sheep) (-er), pastor, shearing house, shepherd, wander, waste.

Let’s look at the letters:

Resh  200 = Insufficiency, Poverty. Picture: Head Means:Head, Chief, Beginning, Highest, Most Important, a Person, Human Reasoning vs. Obedience.  (When we allow human reasoning to be our master, our head, poverty of the Spirit results.)

Ayin 70= Completion of time.  Means:  Eye, to See, Understand, Experience, or to be Seen, Window of the soul-good or bad (made of a Zayin and Yod—Word and Spirit)

Hey  5 = Grace. Means: Revelation – 5 is the number of Torah, Behold, Give Attention –(at the end of a word: comes from letter before)

Yeshua, our Bridegroom King is our FRIEND.  He is the Most Important person in our lives.  He Sees and Understands us by the Word and by the Spirit.  He Graces us with Revelation we need to Pay Attention to. 

SUMMARY
