Today we are going to dig into the rest of Song of Solomon 5:13.  Here is that entire verse:  His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: His lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.

The first part of this verse proved to be full of treasure and the second part is as well.

Let’s take a look.

LIPS – Strong’s #8193 from primary root #8192  שָׁפָה shâphâh, shaw-faw’; a primitive root; to abrade, i.e. bare:—high, stick out.

Reading from right to left, the Hebrew letters are:

Shin  300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit.  Means: Teeth, Fire, the Fire of God to consume all His enemies, Devour, Destroy, Something Sharp.

Pey 80 = New Governmental Order.  Means: Mouth, to Speak, Open or Beginning.

Hey  5 = Grace.  Means: Revelation – 5 is the number of Torah, Behold, Give Attention – (at the end of a word: comes from letter before)

His Lips speak words that set a New Governmental Order born out of Revelation and the Fiery Zeal of God to Consume all our enemies.

LILIES is our next word and it comes from Strong’s #7799 from the primary root #7797  It is defined: שׂוּשׂ sûws, soos; or שִׂישׂ sîys; a primitive root; to be bright, i.e. cheerful:—be glad, × greatly, joy, make mirth, rejoice. Also a (straight) trumpet (from the tubular shape)

There is that Shin again–Twice with Vav in the middle.

Shin  300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit.  Means: Teeth, Fire, the Fire of God to consume all His enemies, Devour, Destroy, Something Sharp.

Vav  6 =  Man.  Means: Nail or Hook, to Secure, Pin together, Connect -Yeshua

LILIES again describe the words our Bridegroom King speaks.  Those words Destroy and Consume our enemies and Reconnect us to Heaven with Fiery Zeal.  He does this joyfully with the clear sound of a Trumpet that cannot be ignored or missed.

Next the text speaks of His words DROPPING like sweet smelling myrrh.  We are about to learn something about myrrh you may not know.  Let’s see:

DROPPING  is Strong’s #5197 – נָטַף nâṭaph, naw-taf’; a primitive root; to ooze, i.e. distil gradually; by implication, to fall in drops; figuratively, to speak by inspiration:—drop(-ping), prophesy(-et).  (FYI – Myrrh – is a resin, or sap-like substance, that comes from a tree called Commiphora myrrha, common in Africa and the Middle East. Myrrh is botanically related to frankincense, and is one of the most widely used essential oils in the world.

The myrrh oozes from the bark of the tree and hardens in droplets.  They have been gathered to make incense for centuries.

But, here is the Hebrew spelling.  Looking at the letters from right to left:

Nun  50 = Restoration, Holy Spirit, Jubilee. Means: Life or Action

Tet 9 = Judgment.  Means: Choice, Basket, Snake, Surround or Twist

Pey 80 = New Governmental Order.  Means: Mouth, to Speak, Open or Beginning.

DROPPING-His words bring Restoration and Life.  They cause us to make a Choice, turning from the Snake in the Basket to say, “Yes,” to our King’s New Governmental Order.  His words bring us into a New Beginning with the King.

Myrrh is very SWEET SMELLING.  The Hebrew words look like this:

Sweet Smelling  – Comes from Strong’s #5674   עָבַר ʻâbar, aw-bar’; a primitive root; to cross over; used very widely of any transition; specifically, bring (over, through), carry over, (over-) come (on, over), conduct (over), convey over, etc.

Reading from right to left, here are the Hebrew letters:

Ayin 70= Completion of time.  Means:  Eye, to See, Understand, Experience, or to be Seen, Window of the soul-good or bad (made of a Zayin and Yod—Word and Spirit)

Bet  2 =  Divide or Division     Means: House/Family; God’s word, God’s dwelling place (Temple)

Resh  200 = Insufficiency, Poverty. Picture: Head Means: Head, Chief, Beginning, Highest, Most Important, a Person, Human Reasoning vs. Obedience.  (When we allow human reasoning to be our master, our head, poverty of the Spirit results.)

SWEET SMELLING then refers to the words of my King that cause us to See and Understand by the Word and the Spirit.  We find our Home in God, in His Family and Divided away from Human Reasoning and lack of Obedience. 

Okay, let’s wrap up this verse.

MYRRH –  is Strong’s #4753 from the primary root #4843   מָרַר mârar, maw-rar’; a primitive root; properly, to trickle; to be (causatively, make) bitter (literally or figuratively):—(be, be in, deal, have, make) bitter(-ly, -ness), be moved with choler, (be, have sorely, it) grieved(-eth), provoke, vex.

Reading from right to left, here are the Hebrew letters:

Mem 40= Trial, Testing, Tribulation.  Means Womb, Water from the womb, Cleansing water, flowing water that brings life, Mighty, Massive Chaos, Humility, taking the low place, hidden relationship with God, Cleansing water, flowing water that brings life.

Resh  200 = Insufficiency, Poverty. Picture: Head Means: Head, Chief, Beginning, Highest, Most Important, a Person, Human Reasoning vs. Obedience.  (When we allow human reasoning to be our master, our head, poverty of the Spirit results.)

MYRRH in this verse refers again to His words.  They sometimes Trickle through Suffering in Trials and Testing, but they Bring Life Washing us, Cleansing us of our Human Reasoning and helping us to hear from our true Head. 

Summary:

Our King’s LIPS speak words that set a New Governmental Order in place, born out of Revelation and the Fiery Zeal of God to Consume all our enemies.

Those words Destroy and Consume our enemies and Reconnect us to Heaven.  He does this joyfully with the clear sound of a Trumpet that cannot be ignored or missed.

His words bring Restoration and Life.  They cause us to make a Choice, turning from the Snake in the Basket to say, “Yes,” to our King’s New Governmental Order.  His words bring us into a New Beginning with the King.

The words of my King cause us See and Understand by the Word and the Spirit.  We find our Home in God, in His Family and Divided away from Human Reasoning and lack of Obedience. 

While His words sometimes Trickle through Suffering in Trials and Testing, they Bring Life Washing me, Cleansing us of our Human Reasoning and helping us to hear from our true Head. 

There is no other God like our God.  None.  No other God who loves us enough to pull us out of our messes and false identity and lead us back to Him.  Let’s fix our gaze on Him today and every day.  ♥
