One morning, as I lifted my heart in praise to Him, He said,
Come and sit here beside Me. 

Look out over My creation, the mountains and the sea that you love so much.  See the colors of Spring, Summer, and Fall.  The crystal snow.  There isn’t anything in all of creation that I love more than you, My Beloved.  You give me such joy and My heart dances when you run to me night or day with shouts of delight or with your declaration that you love Me.  My children, My Bride, you are My passion. 

It’s not what you do, it’s who you are, that I love.

On the first day of this New Year, let’s run to Him with hearts wide open and let Him know how much we love Him, not for what He does, but for who He is.
