Sometimes God loves to remind us who we are and what His plans are for our lives.  This entry is for each of us.  As King’s kids, this is your story as well as mine.

Beloved?

Yes, Lord.

Come to Me.  Sit with Me.  Let Me sing to you.  You are My song.  You are the one who makes My heart sing.  My words are full of promise and wonder as I see the beauty I placed in you come alive. 

You are the words and the music

You are the song that I sing

You are the melody and we are in harmony

Praises to Me your life brings

I AM the Mighty God

I AM the Lord of Hosts

I AM the King of all kings

Come now and join with Me love

Rest in My arms My love

Come now and dance with your King

Love isn’t about striving to do.  Love is about looking to Me and living.  All your self-defenses fall away when your eyes are on Me.  Your need to combat and confront falls to the ground, when you see My love face to face.  Love dismantles the anger.  Love melts cold hearts.  Love covers and comforts.  Love forgives and delights in being forgiven.  Love is not rational.  Love is relational.  It moves beyond self and surrenders to serve others.  It sees from their shoes.  It speaks to their heart, not to their head.  It discovers truth in listening, not in arguing.  It is easily entreated.  Slow to anger, abounding in mercy.  Looking for ways to bless rather than curse.

Love is Who I AM.  Who you are when you are one with Me.  We are becoming one.  The cry of your heart is being answered.  You too will experience the heights of My joy and the depths of My pain in truly knowing Love—My Love.  For it isn’t all warm and fuzzy—sunshine and flowing brooks.  Love rages in the storms as well.  Love fights the battle for souls and they don’t always yield.  It’s their choice, yet the pain is not any less.

We experience it together.  Remember we are one.

Joy is not the absence of sorrow.  Joy is knowing I am present and regardless of the circumstances I am fully Love for you and all you meet.  Joy is knowing Me and knowing I am ever with you.  Nothing can take you from Me.  Nothing.

I will take you to the alleyways and the boardrooms.  You will have your heart broken for the lost in both of these places, but you will also see your spark ignite hearts for the Kingdom, lives set free by love.  Lives empowered to get out of their sin and become givers of light to others.  Weeping may endure for the night, but there will be Joy in the morning.  We will do it together.

My love for you is never ending.  My love for you is—well you haven’t even grasped a thimble full yet of the ocean I have.  Jump in – the water is life giving.  It will carry you to places you never dreamed you’d go; cabbages and kings; the simple and the regal of your world.  You will meet them in the dirt and in the places, on the street and in the assembly halls; one on one in the marketplace and thousands in a sea of refugees tossed by the storms that are yet to come. 

Fear not, all is well.  We will go together.  You are My hands extended.  You are My voice.  You are the carrier of My glory, My love.  Lean on Me Beloved.  Lean on Me and rest in My love.  The more you rest in My love the more you’ll have to give away.

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

John 17:22-23  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: ²³ I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
