Monday Manna – Where He Dwells

monday-manna3Back in November 2005, I was pondering this phrase, “He who dwells….” Psalm 91:1

Then He asked me, “Do you know where I dwell?”

Isaiah 40 says that You sit above the circle of the earth—After seeing the movie Indescribable last night, that circle has shot out into infinity.

I dwell in you.

Lord, why would You want to dwell in me?  I am so imperfect.

Because I love you.  I am a master craftsman.  I, who began a good work in you will be faithful to fulfill it. (Philippians 1:6) I dwell in you to remake you from the inside out.  Your are trying to refurbish the outside in hopes of reflecting Me, but what’s inside is the only thing that will truly represent Me to the world.

Remember I told the Pharisees that they were whitewashed tombs, full of dead man’s bones?  Appearing pristine and sin free, righteous and holy, but full of dead works, critical hearts, and religious bondage?

I am here, dwelling in you and all My children to bring you out of bondage to religion and your soulish desires and to open all the windows of your mind, will, and emotions to let the wind of My Spirit blow through.

The eyes are windows to your soul.  How you perceive the world through sight, reflects the inner attitudes of your heart.  You see out through your eyes through soul filters—heart filters.  Others see into your eyes and they see those filters, while you are often completely blind to the fact that filters are present.

Lord, I want to know You!   I don’t want my ideas about You, I want to KNOW YOU.

You want to know Me?

Yes.

Know this, never has there been a love so pure as I have for you.  It is without variance.  No matter how stupid you feel, how ugly and angry you feel, no matter how much a failure, I love you more than life itself. When I went to the cross, you were on My mind

He dwells in you.  Allow Him full access to remodel and recreate at will.  You won’t be disappointed.

1 Corinthians 6:19 : Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
