We are going to look at the word HUMBLE this week.  You will find the YouTube link at the end of this blog, but here are the notes:

 

Ayin is the first letter of the word.  And similar to other words in Hebrew, Ayin is created out of two letters.  Yod and Zayin.

Yod 10 = The outcome or completion of something. Means: Hand, Right Arm, Power, Right hand of God’s power, a Deed Done, To Work, to Cover, Allow, Hollow, Open Hand

 Zayin 7 = completeness, Perfection, Fullness.  Means: Sword of the Spirit (Word of God), Dagger, Weapon, Plow, or Seed

By itself: Ayin 70 = Completion of time.   Picture is an Eye. Means: to See, Understand, Experience, or to be Seen, Window of the soul-good or bad (made of a Zayin and Yod—Word and Spirit)

Thus, when you put the full meaning of Ayin together here, that one letter means the to see and understand the soul by the word and the Spirit. 

Nun 50 = Restoration, Holy Spirit, Jubilee. Means: Life or Action

  Hey  5 = Grace.  Means: Revelation – 5 is the number of Torah, Behold, Give Attention – (at the end of a word: comes from letter before)

To Be HUMBLE: Those who see and understand by the Word and by the Spirit what is in their soul.

They look to Holy Spirit for Restoration and Life.

Holy Spirit brings Revelation and Grace from the Word that we need to pay attention to.

In other words, to be humble is to recognize our weakness compared to God’s strength and knowledge. 

To be humble means to look to God for EVERYTHING.  That’s what Jesus did 24/7.  His focus was on Abba and the Word and that’s where He got His marching orders and His power, daily.

Here are some scriptures where this Strong’s #6031  for humble is found:

Zephaniah 3:12 I will leave in your midst  A meek and humble people, And they shall trust in the name of the Lord .

Genesis 1:9  And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit ^H6031 thyself under her hands.

Submit here is the same root as the word Humble.

Deuteronomy 8:2  And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble ^H6031 thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Isaiah 53:7  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, ^H6031 yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Afflicted has the same root word as Humble.

Recently I asked the LORD, “What is the key for getting through this season of chaos in our world?

He told me, “Humility is Key.”

May each of us learn to recognize that God’s wisdom and power far surpass anything we can create.  May we be willing to HUMBLE ourselves, seek His face for one-on-one time with Him, and DO what He tells us.
