One Word Treasures

On January 29, 2016, I was praying, “Holy Spirit, my body is Your temple. Please help me to take care of it well.”

Immediately I heard:
“My Word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. Psalm 119:103”

When I looked up Psalm 119:103, thinking I’d find the verse He just quoted to me, instead I found:

“How sweet is Thy word unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than HONEY to my mouth.”
Psalm 119:105 is about the lamp.

I knew He was telling me that Psalm 119:103 was to be the lamp to my feet.

So I went to my Hebrew to search out the meaning of Honey:

When I looked at all of this and entered into prayer asking Holy Spirit what He was showing me, this is the definition that resulted:

HONEY: My words are a Door into My house.  They bring victory of good over evil and consume all the enemies that want to keep you from My house and union with Me.

So a strong diet of His Word would lead me in health but also draw me into deeper intimacy with Him.  Nothing can be better for our health than to be God minded all of the time.

Brings a whole new meaning to “Honey, I’m home.”

I thought this was wonderful, yet still felt the need to look up lamp.

Note, there is more than one spelling for the word lamp: When I asked Holy Spirit for His interpretation, I heard:

“My Word is a LAMP-My Word brings restoration, Jubilee (return for what was stolen) a return to life with action. This happens by the right hand of My power, the work of the Holy Spirit who oversees your life and who overcomes your human reasoning with revelation that you need to pay attention to.”

In my mind’s eye, I saw a caver with a headlamp on. The lamp is overcoming the human reasoning of the mind and shining a light on where the true path is to walk.

After all of this , I asked Abba, “Are there words I need to hear and pay attention to today?”

“Just remember in the days ahead, when there will be many clamoring voices of advice and warning, Come to Me and ask Me for My word on the matter. It will mean life and restoration, peace and wisdom, rest and hope. My Word is the only thing that can do this. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

In the search for Honey and Lamp, I found not only health for my body, but life for my soul.

This puts a whole new twist on Isaiah 7:14-15:
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. 15 Curds and HONEY He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good.” NKJV
