“Treasures from the Secret Place”

Chapter 26

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.Psalm 91:14 NKJV

 I can still remember my first crush. It was in second grade at Harding School…Michael. He had blonde hair and the bluest eyes. My heart skipped a beat every time he walked by.

For Valentine’s Day I decided to create a special card for him. Carefully I folded a piece of white construction paper in half and pasted a red colored paper heart on the front. On it I wrote his initials and mine. Inside the card words about how cute he was and that I wanted to be his girlfriend.

The cards were all passed out and taken home without opening. I never received so much as a smile from Michael. I’d set my ‘love’ on him, but he wasn’t interested. My heart was shattered.

God is not like Michael or any other earthly ‘love.’ He does respond to our love and He loves us whether we respond to Him or not. He is love through and through.

One day He told me, “I cannot, not love you. I am love. It’s My DNA.”

(He also redeems…years later I met another handsome blonde haired, blue eyed Michael. We’ve been married 51 years.)

Let’s take a look at this verse and see what treasure is hidden:

He has set his love:

<2836> (khaw-shak’); a primitive root; to cling, i.e. join, to bind, (figuratively) to love, delight in; elliptically KJV – have a delight, (have a desire, fillet, long, set (in) love.

= Chet 8 = New Beginnings. Means: Fence, Gate, or Tent wall – Separate, Protect, Cut Off

= Shin 300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit. Means: Teeth, Fire, the Fire of God to consume all His enemies, Devour, Destroy,   Something Sharp.

= Qof 100 = Election of God’s chosen ones. Meaning: Divide, sun on horizon, Back of the Head, Make a Complete Circle, End of a Cycle, Final, Behind, Dome

 HE HAS SET HIS LOVE: Because we have completely Separated ourselves to God, completely Cutting off the enemy influence in our lives and living as one of God’s chosen ones…

This scripture comes to mind: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

I will deliver:

 <6403>(paw-lat’); a primitive root; to slip out, i.e. escape; causatively, to deliver: KJV – calve, carry away safe, deliver, (cause to) escape.

= Pey 80 = New governmental order. Means: Mouth, to Speak or Open, Beginning

= Lamed 30 = Blood of Messiah, Dedication. Means: Goad or Stick, to Teach or Instruct,  Authority, to Control, Urge Forward, a Tongue

= Tet 9 = Judgment. Means: Choice, Basket, Snake, Surround or Twist

 I WILL DELIVER: I (God) will exercise My authority and Speak that you are under New Government, My Authority, and I will Judge the enemy who is Twisting truth.

Once He delivers us He is going to remove us from the scene…

I will set him on high:

<7682> (saw-gab’); a primitive root; to be (causatively, make) lofty, especially inaccessible; by implication, safe, strong; used literally and figuratively KJV – defend, exalt, be excellent, (be, set on) high, lofty, be safe, set up (on high), be too strong.

= Shin 300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit. Means: Teeth, Fire, the Fire of God to  consume all His enemies, Devour, Destroy,  Something Sharp.

= Gimmel 3 = Divine perfection.   Means Camel- Generous Rich man—To lift up and to Give, to Benefit, to Toil, to Retaliate

= Bet 2 = Divide or Division     Meaning: House/Family

 I WILL SET HIM ON HIGH: I (God) will Consume your enemies and Lift you Up in Retaliation. I will clearly establish that you are in My Family

Because he has known:

The simple meaning, to know, is its most common translation out of the eight hundred or more uses. One of the primary uses means to know relationally and experientially: it refers to knowing or not knowing persons but it especially signifies knowing what to do or think in general, especially with respect to God. (Isa 1:3; 56:10).

= Yod 10 = The outcome, the completion of something. Means: Hand, Arm, Power – Right hand of God’s power, a Deed Done, to Work, to Cover, Allow, Hollow, Open Hand
