Love Letters from Elohim – Sometimes We Miss It But It’s Not the End

10547c46-0398-45ce-b4ab-19adcec9eaa4_tcm990-333218_w828_h466Have you ever tried to do something you thought you were good at and completely failed?   I have, more than once.  One of the temptations to this kind of failure is a face to face encounter with a vow, “If I cannot excel in something, I won’t do it anymore.”   There appears to be an unwritten code that says, “I must come off as performing well or I will be humiliated.”

Many years ago, I was in charge of running power-point for a huge gathering. While I created powerpoints weekly for the worship team, I’d never been in charge of running it for the services.  I blew it in spades and was totally upset with myself.  When I cried out, the Lord responded:

I am the Way the Truth and the Life.  No one can go to the Father except through Me.  I am your strength.  I am your perfection.  I am your acceptance.  All freedom lies in Me.

Fear not for I am bringing you to the place of utter, unabashed freedom, where you shall sing and you shall dance and you shall proclaim My love without thought of self.  Without thought of how you are perceived.  I am freeing you from yourself and all your rules of engagement.   This battle is Mine and I am winning.

You are growing in love. You’ve only begun to fully understand My love for you.  It will set you free.  It will empower you to do all the things your heart has longed to do for Me and with Me.  Don’t be afraid.  Don’t be afraid.  What looks like failure to you is only growing pains.

Stand still and see the redemption of Your Lord in you and through you.  I have made you for such a time as this.  I am readying you now for My plan and My purpose.  Fear not, you are not late.  You will not fail.  Keep your eyes on Me.

When we keep our eyes on Him instead of our performance, we are always loved and always accepted.  He even uses our failures for our good.  They help us see where we are focusing and whose attention and approval we are seeking.

He is preparing His Bride.  There will be times when we miss it, but we are ever being called upward in Him.  Rest in His love.

Shalom ♥
