Several months ago I was in a small prayer meeting, praying for the local church when Holy Spirit spoke these words to me.

Come and worship and bow down.  Come and kneel before the Lord Your God, your Maker.  Call for intercessors to come. 

My word has gone forth for this house.  Partner with Me in intercession to bring in the harvest.  The harvest is great, but the laborers are few.  Call for the intercessors.

Since that time, I’ve prayed many times and posted several things about the need for all of us to pray.  Today, as I sit here asking Holy Spirit what He wants posted in Monday Manna for this week, the word ‘intercession’ comes with boldness.

I went to my journals and found many words about intercession, but was led to post the following.  These are words from April, 2013, through June of 2013, and I believe they still apply TODAY!!

“Father, lead me in true intercession,” I prayed.  “I don’t want my list, I want Yours.”

Fear not child, I am leading you.  You are hearing Me.  There is much to be done but there is also time for rest.  There is a rhythm in My Spirit that must be followed for My works to be seen.  Weariness calls for rest.  Rest in the rhythm I have for you.  This is a body ministry.  While some parts rest, others are giving their all.  It must be so for My work to be done.  It is not a sign of weakness to rest.  Rest in My love, Beloved.  Rest in My love.  Much more to do in the near future.  Rest in My love.

“Father, how shall we be interceding for the Church?”

Be still and know that I am God.  You are not.  I will have My way.  My way does not look like your way.  Fear not.  I am with you and I will not leave you in the times that are at your door.

All that can be shaken will be shaken in order for My kingdom, My will to be born.  The Kingdom is in you but life has stifled it and veiled it.  Men pleasing, fears, selfishness, and ignorance has kept My Kingdom under wraps.

The shofar is about to blow.  I am calling forth those who want to manifest My Kingdom.  Pray they awaken and do not delay.

“Father, what is my part?”

Prayer—Don’t pass on the news adding to the chaos.  I am not the author of fear.  Do not allow the enemy to stir fear in you or through you.

Pray. Let Me sift this out.

“What is the news You want me to report Father?”

God Almighty, King of heaven and earth faints not, neither is weary.

Call on Me in your hour of confusion and fear and I will be with you.  There is never a reason to fear, for I am on your side.  All that can be shaken is beginning to shake but all that remains will be glorious.

Don’t fear the process for it is I who is in charge.  For my glory and for My sake it must take place.

Pray My timing is honored and that the hoards of hell are held in check for My bidding.  Pray that the righteous awaken and fall on their knees in repentance and prayer for the nations.  Pray for their forgiveness and I will forgive.  Pray for their salvation, and I will save. Their times and yours are in My hands.

Time is short.  Time is short.  Prepare your hearts and pray for My will to be exercised in all things.  There is nothing too hard for Me.  NOTHING.  What men have done in My name in error can be stricken from the record with prayer.

I will manifest My glory

I will manifest MY glory

I will MANIFEST My glory in ways that will humble the proud and bring kingdoms to naught.

Pray for the weight of My glory to fall.  My glory will crush and it will heal.

The Holy Spirit is still calling for our prayers.  We, as His Body, are called to pray.  Not two or three in a congregation with special ‘intercessor’ titles.  We are all called to pray.  As we pray in line with His word, the angels will be activated and His will be done.  As the Holy Spirit prompts you, please respond.  If you haven’t felt prompted, ask Him if He wants you to pray and listen for His answer. 🙂
