Monday Manna – It Helps to Have God’s Perspective

monday-manna3One of the things God’s gifted me with is a passion for His word and a desire to share it with other people.  Many years ago, I faced some opposition for some of the things I was teaching because my audience had never heard the truths I was sharing.  They wanted me to teach other things.

While I have a passion to understand and teach God’s word, more than anything, I want truth to be the content and God’s love and timing paramount.  So, I went to the Head Master:

Lord, I come to You for truth.  Am I teaching what You want me to teach?  How do You see my teaching?

Let’s take a walk Beloved.

We are walking through a grove of walnut trees in full leaf.  It is warm but the shade of the trees provide a cool path with clean air.  Light plays hide and seek through leaves as they bob in the breeze.  Yeshua has my hand in His.

I am with you, Beloved.  I am with you.  The way seems long and you can’t see the end, but I am with you.  This is My path for you and we are walking it together.  Men’s words are men’s words and there will be more to contend with, but look up and see Who is with you.

When they speak against you, they speak against Me. Don’t fear.  Love and pray for them.  Their idea of anointing and Mine are two different things.  My heart is for them too.

All My children have blind spots.  Your teaching is pulling off their eye patches and some aren’t ready for the light.  It hurts their eyes and they prefer to be in the dark.  So they say things they will later regret when they truly see.

Don’t be caught in that trap. Guard your words and guard your heart, for out of it flows the issues of life.  My life lives in you.  Let Me direct your speech.

I haven’t shared this to elevate your opinion of me, but rather to encourage other teachers, other children of the King who come under pressure at times, even when they are doing the Father’s will. Be encouraged, my friends.  God opened the eyes of those who spoke out, those many years ago.  And, God gave me such love for them and helped me be more dependent on Him for every word.  We must steward the gifts He gives us with love.

Proverbs 4:23  Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

Psalm 19:4 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Shalom♥
