In a time of circumstances pro and con, I said to Abba, “You who promised me are FAITHFUL.  I rest in You.  I trust You.  I wait Lord in Your arms.  I wait.  Lord, what are You doing?  I know You are always at work on our lives.”

“I am fashioning you for greatness.” He said.

“You are?  What does that mean?”

There is so much more of Me I want to bring forth in you.  All the seeds are there, every attribute accounted but it’s in times like these that they are warmed by the fires of waiting.  Like the Sequoia trees that need burning for growth, so it is.  The fires are not to destroy but to activate the potential within for My greatness to grow and be seen.   

You are a city on a hill.  I want to take your candle and put it on a candlestick so all will see Me, shining in you. What you’ve asked is what I am answering.

I work in the quiet hidden places away from the crowds and noise.  My ways are just and true.  My ways are found in hiddenness and rest, in waiting and trusting. I’m not a god that shouts but one who whispers My love and gently, meticulously molds your being for My glory.

Be still now, quiet yourself and rest.  The God of all gods and Lover of your soul is at work fashioning one of His treasures for greatness.  Be still and rest in My arms of love and let Me have My way with you. 

There is no fear in love.  Rest in My love, rest.

God’s plans for us are good.  When trials and stresses come, stop and ask Him, “Lord, what do You want me to see?  What do You want me to know? What are You revealing about Yourself in this experience?”

He is 100% love, but sometimes love is tough.  God is jealous over us.  He knows the good plans He has and He does everything imaginable to get us to fulfillment. And, it is often in these times of stretching that we see His character emerge in living color. Rest in His love.

Jeremiah 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
