Monday Manna – The Holiness of God

In our world of tweets and snapchats, Facebook  ‘likes,’ and such, there is a tendency to diminish the holiness of God and speak of Him in familiar terms.  While  I often call Him Abba, I also need a reminder that He is holiness to the max and I cannot enter His presence without the blood of Jesus.

Back in 2013, He spoke these words to me one morning and they bear repeating now.  May you be blessed to consider the holiness of our God.

I am the Holy God.  There is none other.  No one can come into My Presence without the blood.  You must be clean to bear the vessels of the Lord.  An unholy fire I will not receive.  My mercies are tender but My judgment is sure.

Vengeance is Mine and Mine alone.  I am coming.  Fire goes before Me.  All that can be consumed will fall away so all that remains will be holy before Me.

Prepare your hearts.  Prepare your lives.

Psalm 24:3-5
Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.  NKJV

Job 38:3
Now prepare yourself like a man;
I will question you, and you shall answer Me.  NKJV

2 Corinthians 6:17-18
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
18 ‘I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”  NKJV
