I continued to meditate on John 15:7, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”  He had more to show me about this verse and how it can play out in our lives.

If you abide in Me [resting in your identity as a child of the King, a bride chosen and loved by the most loving, caring, faithful, Bridegroom ever born] and My words abide in you [When My truth has found a permanent home in you.  It is your food, your drink, your very breath, and clothing] you will ask what you will, and it shall be done for you.

When Jesus’ word rules in my heart, the things I ask for will be in complete agreement with Him and thus will receive immediate attention from the Father.

1 John 5:14-15- Amplified    And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything(make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to us and hears us.  And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled, absolute knowledge] that we have the requests made of Him.

Align yourself with Him. Then, pray in faith, ask in line with His will, and watch Him bring the answers.  It works!!
