His Name Shall Be Called-Everlasting Father

everlasting-father

I thought ‘Mighty God’ was awesome for His name until I considered ‘EVERLASTING FATHER.’ Talk about a full meal deal.  Wow!  Get ready for a feast.

EVERLASTING

#5703 in Strong’s.  From #5710.

#5703 -‘ad’ : properly, a (peremptory) terminus, i.e. (by implication) duration, in the sense of advance or perpetuity (substantially as a noun, either with or without a preposition):—eternity, ever(-lasting, -more), old, perpetually, world without end. (Some of these words sound like a foreign language to me.  In layman’s terms, Everlasting means: continuing future, i.e. forever, and ancient past, of continuous existence.)

#5710 (primary root) (aw daw) to advance., i.e. pass on or continue; causatively, to remove; specifically to bedeck or bring an ornament upon.  Adorn, deck self, pass by, take away.

In Hebrew it looks like this: HeyDalletAyin

AyinAyin = 70 completion of time. Meaning: Eye, to See, Understand, Experience, or to be Seen.

Dallet Dallet = 4 Earth or creation.  Meaning: Door, Gate, Impoverished man

Hey Hey = 5 Grace.  Meaning: Revelation, 5 is the number of Torah, Behold, Give Attention to (if it comes at the end of the word, the revelation comes from the letter before.)

When we put this together regarding the destiny of Yeshua, it means that Yeshua will (Ayin) See, Understand and Experience what we go through (Hebrews 4:15-16), and He will be the Door (Dallet) for every man to enter and find Grace, the power to do God’s will. (Romans 5:15-16; Ephesians 2:4-5; 2 Corinthians 9:8)  He will be the Living (Hey) Revelation of God’s Word (John 1:14) and will continually, without end, call us to Give Attention to the Word. (Luke 11:27-28;  John 8:31-32,  John 14:23-24)

Is this not the description of the role of every good father?  The need to be a strong leader through understanding his  children and forever calling them back to God’s Word as their only path for abundant life.

Okay now for the name ‘FATHER.’

#1 (just the fact that the name Father is #1 in Strong’s speaks volumes.) It doesn’t come from another word.  Just stop and think about that for a second or an hour.

#1 Father, in a literal and immediate, or figurative and and remote application.  Chief, fore-father, father-less, principal.

In Hebrew, Father is spelled BetAleph

Aleph Aleph = 1  God, Echad, Unity, Unique (no other like it)  Meaning: Ox head, Strength or Leader, Most Important, First, The Strength and Power of the leader

Bet Bet = 2 Divide or Division   Meaning: House/Family; God’s word, God’s dwelling place

In Yeshua’s destiny as our ‘FATHER’ (John 10:30, John 14:7-11), Yeshua is the (Aleph) Strong and Powerful God (Isaiah 43:10-15) unlike any other.  He is our (Bet) Dwelling Place (Psalm 91:1-2; John 15:4-5; Acts 17:28; Colossians 3:3).  He will Divide us out for His own Family (John 1:12-13; Ephesians 1:4-5; 1 John 3:1).

In Isaiah 63:16, Isaiah says:

Doubtless You are our Father,
Though Abraham was ignorant of us,
And Israel does not acknowledge us.
You, O Lord, are our Father;
Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.

Yeshua is our FATHER.  John 14:7-11   “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

John 14:19-21 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

John 10:30  “I and My Father are one.”

1 John 5:6-8 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

Colossians 2:9-10  For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

No matter who our earthly father is or was, whether we know him or not, we have an EVERLASTING FATHER, who loved us enough to leave the majesty of heaven and His throne to come to earth and show us His love by taking on our sins so that we would run to Him without fear or guilt.  What an Abba we have.  ‘Abba’ is Hebrew for Daddy.

As this year draws to a close and much uncertainty lies ahead, spend some time feasting on His name and let your faith and trust soar.

Yeshua Sees, Understands and has Experienced what we go through and He is the Door  for every man to enter and find Grace, the power to do God’s will. He is the Living  Revelation of God’s Word and will continually, without end, call us to Give Attention to the Word.

Yeshua is the Strong and Powerful God, unlike any other.  He is our Dwelling Place.  He  Divides us out for His own Family.

Be blessed sisters and brothers.
