One Word Treasures

GOOD

Abba has me on a new adventure.  With the help and direction of Holy Spirit, He is uncovering one word at a time that He wants me to see.  What I am discovering is that HE is in every word and His love is shining boldly.  I am falling more in love with Him with each word He reveals.

The other thing He’s been doing is prompting me to illustrate the words, once I understand what they mean.  That’s been a little intimidating, because I am not an artist.  However, pictures stay with us longer than words do, so illustrating I am.  I will be posting my Kindergarten graphics for your refrigerators.  LOL

I also plan on interjecting different words that He’s unveiled when I prepared teachings.  He will be the ‘project manager,’ and I will do my best to do what He is directing.

One of the first words He uncovered for me was GOOD.

When I asked Him on January 27th, Holy Spirit, “What do You want me to dig into this morning,” I immediately heard, “Ezra 3.”

Well I went to Ezra 3—It’s all about the restoration of the Temple.  I asked Holy Spirit to stop me on what He wanted me to see.  When I came to verse 11, He stopped me on the word GOOD.

It’s talking about the celebration that took place after the builders put down the foundation for the restored temple.

Ezra 3:11
And they sang responsively, praising
And giving thanks to the LORD:
“For He is GOOD
For His mercy endures forever…”

GOOD was vibrating like neon inside when I read it.  I looked at a cross reference and Psalm 136:1 was listed:
“Oh give thanks to the LORD, for
He is GOOD and His mercy endures forever.”

I went to my Strong’s and found:

God is GOOD. He chose to surround man and secure him to Himself by the Nail, Yeshua at the cross, and bring man into His family, His house.

Holy Spirit brought this scripture to mind as He continued to unveil.

Colossians 2:13-15 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision (no covenant) of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

He overcame the snake in the basket (Tet) by His own choice to secure us in His family with the crucifixion of His own Son.

The word Good took on a whole new weight.  Truly we have a GOOD, GOOD, Father.
