“Treasures from the Secret Place”

Chapter 20

Psalm 91:8
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

The thing that comes to mind when I read this verse is the story in 2 Chronicles 20, when God sent a praise choir before the little army of Israel to battle two huge armies. When they got to the battle field they found their enemies already overcome by unseen forces. God fought the battle for them. But I am getting ahead of the story.

Let’s take a look at this verse in the Amplified:
Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.
Don’t you love that?

Okay, now for the piece by piece of this verse:

Only With Thine Eyes:
<5869> ayin : A feminine noun meaning an eye, a spring, a fountain. This Hebrew word refers to either an aperture or a source. It signifies the physical organ of sight.

= Ayin 70= Completion of time. Means: Eye, to See, Understand, Experience, or to be Seen, Window of the soul-good or bad (made of a Zayin and Yod—Word and Spirit)

= Yod 10 = The outcome, the completion of something. Means: Hand, Right Arm, Power – Right hand of God’s power, a Deed Done, to Work, to Cover, Allow, Hollow, Open Hand, also refers to the Holy Spirit as it always hangs in the air overseeing

= final Nun 700 = Completion Means: Life or Action

EYES: When the battle is Completed, we will See the result of God’s Powerful Hand that took Action on our enemies.

Thou Shalt Behold:
<5027> A verb primitive root; to scan, i.e. look intently at; by implication, to regard with pleasure, favor or care.

= Nun 50 = Restoration, Holy Spirit, Jubilee. Means: Life or action

= Bet 2 = Divide or Division Means: House/Family; God’s word, God’s dwelling place

= Tet 9 = Judgment. Means: Choice, Basket, Snake, Surround or Twist

SHALL BEHOLD: To Behold here means that we will see Life Restored to God’s House through the Judgment of God’s Choosing, and we will have a front row seat to see what takes place in the lives of those who Chose to follow the enemy.

And See:
7200 ‎(raw-aw’); a primitive root; to see, literally or figuratively.

= Resh 200 = Insufficiency, Poverty (When we allow human reasoning to be our master, poverty of the Spirit results. Picture: the Head Means: Head, Chief, Beginning, Highest, Most Important, a Person, Human Reasoning vs. Obedience

= Aleph 1= God – Echad – Unity, Unique (no other like it) Means: Ox head—Strength or Leader, The Strength and Power of the leader

= Hey 5 = Grace. Means: Revelation – Behold, pay attention, if it is at the end of a word it means: ‘comes from the letter before’

SEE: The ability to truly See comes from our Head, God. Our own head is often skewed with Human Reasoning. When we See through His eyes, we receive Revelation of His Power at work in our lives.

The Reward:
While the word Reward begins with Strong’s 8011, the root word, 7999 is also the root for Shalom. Let’s look at the definitions and final outcome.

8011 ‎shillumah (shil-loo-maw’); feminine of OT:7966; retribution:
KJV – recompense.

7966 ‎shilluwm (shil-loom’); or shillum (shil-loom’); from OT:7999; a requital, i.e. (secure) retribution, (venal) a fee: KJV – recompense, reward.

<7999> (shaw-lam’); a primitive root; to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively, to be (causatively, make) completed; by implication, to be friendly; by extension, to reciprocate (in various applications):KJV – make amends, (make an) end, finish, full, give again, make good, (re-) pay (again), (make) (to) (be at) peace (-able), that is perfect, perform, (make) prosper (-ous), recompense, render, requite, make restitution, restore, reward.

= Shin 300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit. Means: The
Fire of God to consume all His enemies, devour, destroy, something sharp

= Lamed 30 = Blood of Messiah, Dedication. Means: Goad or Stick, to
Teach or Instruct, authority, control, urge forward

A closed Mem 600 = Means:- Hidden Truth (closed mems are always the last letter in a word)

REWARD: To see the destruction of the ‘Authority’ who was Goading us with his words and actions and God will reveal His Hidden Truth. The lies will be uncovered. We will see the ultimate victory over evil and Restitution made.

The Wicked:
7563 (raw-shaw’); morally wrong; concretely, an (actively) bad person: KJV – condemned, guilty, ungodly, wicked (man), that did wrong.
= Resh 200 = Insufficiency, Poverty (When we allow human reasoning to be our master, poverty of the Spirit results. Picture: the Head Means: Head, Chief, Beginning, Highest, Most Important, a Person, Human Reasoning vs. Obedience
= Shin 300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit. Means: The
Fire of God to consume all His enemies, devour, destroy, something sharp
= Tzade 90 = Humility. Means: Righteousness, Fishhook, pull toward, desire, harvest

THE WICKED: The Enemies who have tried to Hook our Human Reasoning and pull us into their camp with their lies and evil deeds.

Just remember in all of this:
“We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

People are not our enemies. They are being ruled and influenced by satan and his minions. Jesus counseled us in Matthew 5:43-44
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you…”

This morning having just returned home from being gone a week and with family coming this weekend to visit, I hit the ground running. So much to do and so little time to accomplish it….But first—had to spend some time with my Creator:

Be still and know that I am God. Greater things are won by stillness than this world dreams of. It is My strength that enables you and it can only be accessed by leaning on Me. I call you to rest.

Look up. I will give you the strategy for every move. All your running will get you nowhere, but into confusion and burnout. The enemy loves to see you run and strive and worry.

Lay it all down, all of it. You can’t figure it out or manipulate the pieces to fit. Only I see the finished picture and only I know the order that the pieces must be placed.

You must walk with Me, in Me, to see the victory I have planned. Time with Me. Time in My word, with My Spirit…this is your place of rest. This is your place of battle. Without the strategies of heaven you are a warrior swinging wildly and your foe is just beyond your reach.

Stop, Look, Listen. I have plans for you, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. You must spend time with Me to receive the plans. I call you to REST.

Do you hear My voice Beloved? I am calling out to those with ears to hear. Draw near. Draw nearer still. Closer, let me whisper in your ear.

Surprises are in store. What the enemy means for evil will turn him on his head.

My Body is being stirred. My Bride is rising. She’s heard the mocking voice of the enemy and like David she is picking up five smooth stones and taking her stand.

She will not use the ways of the world. Rest will be her weapon. Love will melt hearts of stone and truth will be her shield and buckler as she goes forth in My name to do My will.

It’s a day of reckoning and the enemy is pulling out all his arsenal to dissuade her from going forward. I have trained her hands for war. Her heart is steadfast toward Me and I will not disappoint.

In grace, the battle will be won. In grace, victory is sure. My grace is sufficient Beloved. Lean into grace.

Thus we can see no matter how long or difficult the battle, if we stay in the Secret Place trusting in Him and obeying the things He places on our hearts, victory is assured.
