Holy Spirit directed me here today, and while it is from 2009, we are beginning to see its fulfillment.
May 30, 2009 Vision…
I see Jesus on His white horse. He bids me to come up and sit behind Him. He reaches down and His nail-pierced hand lifts me onto the horse.
“Are you ready, Beloved?”
My arms encircle His waist and I hold on tight. “Ready, my Lord.”
In a flash, we are soaring through the heavens and I hear angels declaring, “Mighty is our God! Mighty to Deliver! Mighty is our God! Mighty to Deliver!”
A blast of cold air hits my face. When I look to see where it is coming from I see we are now on top of a snow-covered peak in a broad expanse of peaks. I hear the Lord say, “Himalayas—Tibet. He who overcomes receives a crown of life.”
“Lord, what are You showing me?”
“What’s happened in Tibet is about to happen in the U.S. and England. None are exempt from the trials of this life. Those who remain faithful in times of adversity will be crowned with life– supernatural, wonder-working life. I am about to show Myself strong among the weak. The religious won’t make it, but those of My Bride will.”
“She will rise from the ashes without spot or wrinkle. The north wind is about to be unleashed. Blow north wind.”
“That which can only be released in times of trial and testing, the sweet fragrance of spikenard, I will release with power. My Bride, the bride of My youth is coming forth tried in the fires, pure and holy, tested and true.”
[Spikenard is symbolic of the Holy Spirit’s inner working in us to bring about humility, an acknowledgment of the Lord’s grace to do His will. Its fragrance is one of longing for her Beloved and willingness to sacrifice all to be with Him.]
“Fear not. All that is in heaven and earth are at your disposal in My name. Call upon Me and I will provide all. I am your provision. In Me, you will live and move and have your being. The north wind is not something to fear, but to be anticipated with joy for your God is Mighty to deliver!”
Jesus throws back His head and laughs. “What the enemy means for evil will be turned to triumph for My church. Fear not. Only believe. My ways are not your ways, but My ways conquer every foe.”
“Is there more Lord?”
“Yes.” I look down at the snow and see crocuses poking through. “What the enemy is about to unleash in the way of trial will only stir to life many of My hidden ones. For lo, the winter will pass, when flowers shall appear on the earth. My Bride will be seen and known. My love will shine in the darkness.”
Spikenard—Song of Songs 1:12 While the king is at his table, My spikenard sends forth its fragrance. NKJV
Song of Songs 4:12-14 A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse, a spring shut up, a fountain sealed. Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates with pleasant fruits, fragrant henna with spikenard, spikenard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense, myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices.—NKJV
Mark 14:3 And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head. NKJV
John 12:3 Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. NKJV
The North Wind: It is a wind that awakes. It is the Holy Spirit’s coming to convict of sin and righteousness, clearing out sin, error, unbelief, and anything that would stand in the way of the revelation of the glory of Jesus.
Song 4:16 Awake, O north wind, and come, O south! Blow upon my garden, that its spices may flow out. Let my beloved come to his garden and eat its pleasant fruits. NKJV
Bob Jones, a world-known prophet, spoke about the meaning of winds, and here are his words about the North Wind.
The North Wind – The release of Grace opens the door for reserved provision. It sets apart a people to be the beneficiaries and participants in the Father’s great end-time plan. www.bobjones.org
I hope this word encourages you as it does me. God willing, I will get back to the Altar of Incense next week. I had some challenges this week that kept me from posting more.
Thank you for your patience.

Shalom! Mary Ellen, I enjoyed reading about the North Wind. It was vaguely familiar and since I live in the Far North, some of the same things are said about the north. One is that provision comes from the North. Blessings!
Thanks for your comment, Pure Glory. I’ve never heard this before about the North. Most of us don’t enjoy a north wind of cold, but we may need to reconsider. God bless you, Pure Glory.
God bless you, Mary Ellen! You are welcome
Thanks..it is a blessing…provided another insight to the winds of the Lord…as little is know of the North Wind.
