This is night number 3 of Hanukkah. I hope you are enjoying lighting the candles and celebrating Messiah our Savior.
For God, who said, “Let there be LIGHT in the darkness,” has made us understand that it is the brightness of His glory that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. But this precious treasure-this LIGHT and power that now shines within us –is held in a perishable container, that is, in our weak bodies. Everyone can see that the glorious power within must be from God and is not our own. 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (Living Bible)
Arise, shine;
For your LIGHT has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your LIGHT,
And kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:1-3
The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined. Isaiah 9:2

Gentiles or unbelievers shall come to the light God has foreseen, but many who call themselves “believers” or “Christian” are blinded and do not see the real light. They are blinded by their false doctrines or teachings that go around in their denominational church, having people to believe Jesus would be God, instead of accepting the Biblical Truth and the saying of god that Jesus His God’s only begotten beloved son.
The only comfort we may have in this dark world is that even though there will be more strife between people, terrible wars will rage, while multiple disasters will take place,,,, those who follow the Bible (God’s Word) know that the times are near when the light will shine brighter and draw many to the Truth revealed by God.
