Let’s celebrate the Light! Hanukkah Day 1 — tonight at sundown is the time for candle lighting. One candle is lit each night until in 8 days all the candles are lit. If you don’t have a menorah, just use tea lights or other small candles. No laws are involved. Just enjoy Jesus.

The tall candle in the middle is the Servant candle, used to light the others. Jesus is the Servant of God (Mark 10:45) who came to earth bringing the Light of Life to all mankind.

Thus, if you have a Hanukkah menorah, you can take the middle, Servant candle and as you face the menorah, light the candle on the right end only. Replace the Servant candle in the holder.
