We are going to wind up this verse today.  It’s been quite a revelation and researching it at this time, gave me the perspective I needed to go on loving and worshiping God in the midst of grief.

We’ve already unearthed the treasures in “Taste and See that the LORD is Good.” Today we will look at “Blessed is the man who Trusts in Him.” 

Starting with Blessed.

BLESSED is Strong’s #835 – ‘ešer   אֶשֶׁר

Strong’s Definitions אֶשֶׁר ʼesher; happiness; how happy!:—blessed, happy.

But, as we have seen, there is more treasure in the letters.  Reading from right to left, here they are:

Aleph 1= God – Echad – Unity, Unique (no other like it) Means: Ox head—Strength or Leader, Most Important, First – The Strength and Power of the leader

Shin  300 = Victory of good over evil, Holy Spirit.  Means: Teeth, Fire,  God Almighty, the Fire of God to consume all His enemies, God Devour, Destroy, Something Sharp.

Resh  200 = Insufficiency, Poverty. Picture: Head Means: Head, Chief, Beginning, Highest, Most Important, a Person, Human Reasoning vs. Obedience.  (When we allow human reasoning to be our master, our head, poverty of the Spirit results.)

BLESSED: (Aleph) God-in Unity with Yeshua and Holy Spirit, Exercised Strength and Power as (Resh) Head over all, and brought (Shin) Victory of good over evil.  In His Fiery Zeal, He destroyed all His enemies (all the influence of the enemy keeping us from Him.) 

God did this at the cross.  Jesus said, “It is finished.”  As we live believing and trusting this revelation, we experience these blessings more fully.

Now for the word Trusts.

TRUSTS is Strong’s #2620 – ḥāsâ  חָסָה 

Strong’s Definitions חָסָה châçâh, khaw-saw’; a primitive root; to flee for protection; to confide in:—have hope, seek refuge, (put) trust.

Chet  8 = New Beginnings. Means: Fence, Gate, Tent wall to Separate, Protect, Cut off. Torah, place of refuge, quiet place, to be silent, still in security, sanctuary, inner room.

Samekh  60 = Pride, Conceit, Earthly. Picture: A Tree propped up by a piece of wood. Means: To Lean Upon, a Prop or Aid, Hold, Assist or Support  – the heart of God

Hey  5 = Grace.  Means: Revelation – 5 is the number of Torah, Behold, Give Attention, unfold or look upon – (if it comes at the end of a word: the meaning is based on the letter before)

TRUSTS: (Hey) Pay Attention.  (Samekh) God’s Heart is to Support, (Chet) Protect and Separate us from enemy influence.  His Heart is to give us hope and be a refuge for us.

The Complete Jewish Bible says it this way, “Taste, and see that Adonai is good.  How blessed are those who take refuge in Him!”

Whose report will we believe?  Are we going to believe the media, the pharmaceutical industry, and financial predictors? How about believing God?

The Word says, Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7

In spite of what many in the world and the church would say these days, prophets are alive and well.  God has not changed the way He communicates with His children.  Can we believe all ‘prophetic’ words?  NO.  We are told to test the words we hear against the scriptures.  We are told to pray for understanding and confirmation. 

Timing was and continues to be a HUGE issue with prophecy.  When true prophetic people hear God speak or He gives them a dream or vision, it feels like it is immediate in nature, and unwisely many of them report as such.  However, God says,

“Write down the vision clearly on tablets, so that even a runner can read it.
For the vision is meant for its appointed time; it speaks of the end, and it does not lie. It may take a while, but wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3 CJB

There are present-day prophets with excellent track records of speaking God’s word and then seeing it fulfilled:

Robin D. Bullock, Julie Green, and Amanda Grace are three that I follow. Amanda Grace also has a YouTube channel. 

There are other prophetic voices, but these are the ones I’ve found to be reliable. Julie Green, in particular, brings prophetic words to her Rumble channel five days a week. The prophecies are transcribed here. There are several years worth on her page. Then on her Telegram channel, she has a Prophecy Fulfilled page where there is a daily roll of prophetic words being fulfilled with documentation.

And while some say, “God doesn’t speak to prophets every single day.” He does if you are listening.  He does if you take time to be in His word and in His presence.  Plus, the prophets I named here do not listen to the news in any form.  They listen to God only.  So, until someone sends them the confirmation of a word, they are trusting what they are hearing is from God and they speak it as He directs.  They don’t know all the world’s happenings or the media hype.  But they hear God very clearly. Their reports are worth your time. Take what you hear to the Word and to the Holy Spirit.

In closing, let’s look at what we’ve found:

TASTE: Make a Choice to See and Understand by the Word and the Spirit the Hidden Truth.

SEE: Pay attention to the fact that God is the Most Important Leader and Head over all.

LORD: Behold or Pay Attention to The Right Hand of God’s power Revealed in the Nail, Yeshua, that Connects and Secures us together with God.

GOOD: God Made the Choice to Secure us in His Family and bring us into His House.

BLESSED: God-in Unity with Yeshua and Holy Spirit, Exercised Strength and Power as Head over all, and brought Victory of good over evil.  In His Fiery Zeal, He destroyed all His enemies-all the influence of the enemy keeping us from Him.

TRUSTS: We are to Pay Attention.  God’s Heart is to Support, Protect, and Separate us from enemy influence.  His Heart is to give us hope and be a refuge for us.

Abba, You are the One True God.  Your word is true no matter what it looks like.  Your ways are not our ways, but Your ways are true and they are just.  You are always leading us in triumph. Redemption is always Your purpose.  You still are our cloud by day and our fire by night.  You are our Savior, Our Deliverer, our GOD. You are not a liar.  Your words are true and Your promises are sure.

Lord, what do You say?  What do You want us to know? To do?

Stand still and see the salvation of your God.  Shout for I have given you the victory.  You have heard My word.  It has been declared and written.  Though it tarries, wait for it.  Because it will surely come.  It will not tarry. 

In My time, in My way, with My power.  O, you of little strength, fear not.  I hold this nation in My right hand.  Do not be shaken.  Your God is King of kings and LORD of lords.  I do not lie.  Victory is yours now. 

Rejoice.  Shout unto Me with a voice of triumph.  Your God has given you your nation back.  I am not slack concerning My promises to you. Rejoice.
