Are you in transition?  It may be a new job,  a new baby in your family, a move, or a thousand other things.  A transition complicates life even when it is something we are looking forward to.   Many have suggested that the Body of Christ is in transition. When I asked the Lord about how best to go through this stage, here is what He told me:

“In transition, the baby is pressed and squeezed, bringing it to birth,” He said and then He asked me,  “What does a baby do in transition?”

“Nothing it can do,” I said. “The space is too small. They must endure the pressure as the birth canal is narrow compared to its home in the womb.  But its grown too big to stay in the womb.”

“Yes, it must leave to enter into a broader place.  A place of freedom.  It must yield to the process.”

How can the Body go through this transition with success?” I asked.

“It’s a matter of yielding completely to Me.”

I later looked up what a baby does in transition.  Guess what I found? In transition, a baby rests and surrenders to the process.  Some have been known to sleep through it.

Psalm 37: 5 says, “Commit thy way unto the LORD; Trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass.  

So, whether you are in transition or not, the more we rest in Him, the easier it will be and the quicker we will discover new levels of freedom and fulfillment.
