I was reading Psalm 133 and I asked Holy Spirit, “Take me into scripture and help me enter into the narrative. I want to see Jesus.”
Psalm 133
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the LORD commanded the blessing–
Life forevermore. NKJV
In an inner vision, I see a large table with the disciples sitting along one side laughing and talking. I note the diversity of age and occupation and the call of Jesus on each of their lives, yet they are unified.
Jesus is standing beside me as I observe. “Lord, what is the secret of their unity?”
“Each one of them is fully focused on hearing Me, seeing Me and following Me. When they look at one another, comparison, competition, self-righteousness or low self-esteem arises. But, when I am the focus, they are unified. They are one IN ME. I am the equalizing ingredient. My Holy Spirit functions best in oneness. All the doors are open for Him to move and speak and act.”
“Mary Ellen?”
“Yes, Lord.”
“When you keep your eyes on Me, listening for My voice, looking to see what I am doing, ready to act on the things I’m calling you to do, My Holy Spirit can fully develop love in your heart for those around you. No longer will you see divisions and schisms but you will see reflections of Me in them. I WILL be found by you when you see ME with all your heart.”
“There are no second-class children in My family. Each one is a treasure. Each one of high value. Each one unique and precious to Me. Seek Me and Me only and let Me change your heart.”
“Lord, what must I do to see You more?”
“Refuse to look at the differences. Refuse to enter into conversation of criticism and judgment. Keep your eyes on Me and ask Me in the moment for My perspective. It’s all about Love. Let Me fill your mind and heart and mouth with more of Me for those around you. There are treasures to be found. I am knitting hearts together in love.”
Like this so much. TY for sharing it and God bless!!
You are welcome. It is a good reminder to me as well. ❤
