Monday Manna-The Answer for Our Hunger for More of God

monday-manna2Are you ever hungry for more of God?  One morning this verse played over and over in my spirit:

“I hunger and thirst for You
I hunger and thirst for You
Heaven’s Manna Bread of Life
Fill the emptiness inside
Nothing else can satisfy me like You do
I hunger and thirst for You
I hunger and thirst for You”

I cried out, “Lord, I know there is more.  If I have not because I ask not, Lord, I am asking for more of You.”

Then I hear, Come and have lunch with Me, Beloved.

In an inward vision, I see a picnic table.  I sit down at the table and Jesus pulls out a couple of sandwiches.

Will you break bread with Me?

Yes, Lord.

This is My body broken for you.  Take, eat, in remembrance of Me.  It’s not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit.  You cannot propel yourself into more of Me.  My Spirit is in charge.  You cannot ‘work’ your way into deeper revelation.  It comes at My bidding.

Rest in My work already done.  Rest, Beloved.  All is well.  You are right where you are supposed to be.  Fret not, your hunger will be satisfied.

Take, eat, in remembrance of Me.  Feast on My finished work.  Rest in My victory.  Your times are in My hands.

Do not look to the right or the left.  Look to Me and live.  Enter into Me and rest.  All is well.  All is well.

Fret not.  Rest.  Rejoice.  All is well.

‘Have you not known,

Have you not heard?

The everlasting God, the Lord,

The Creator of the ends of the earth neither faints nor is weary.

His understanding is unsearchable.

He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might,

He increases strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary.

But, those who wait (rest) on the Lord (and His finished work)

shall renew their strength

They shall mount up with wings like eagles.

They shall run and not be weary.

They shall walk and not faint.’

                                                                 Isaiah 40:28-30

Rest Beloved.  All is well.
