I woke up this morning with Holy Spirit prompting me to go back to my journals. I knew I needed to find something He told me about I AM. I could remember highlighting those words sometime in the past six months.   Here is what I found.

As I was in worship this morning, I paused to ask Abba if there was anything He wanted me to know or pray this morning. Immediately I heard, “Judges 34.” Well, if you are familiar with the Bible, you know that Judges does not have 34 chapters. So, I asked again.

Then I heard, Judges 3:4. This is what I found. I always like to read the verses He gives me in context, so I began with Judges 3:1-2.

“Now these are the nations which the Lord left, that He might test Israel by them, that is, all who had not known any of the wars in Canaan 2 (this was only so that the generations of the children of Israel might be taught to know war, at least those who had not formerly known it).”
There were 5 kings and their armies coming against Israel. Verse 4 underlines this again.
“4 And they were left, that He might test Israel by them, to know whether they would obey the commandments of the Lord, which He had commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.”

One of the cross-references for this is Isaiah 48:17.
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
“I AM the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.”

So, I asked, “LORD, is this what is going on now?”

And here is His response:

Yes, I AM calling you higher. Holiness must live in the heart of My Bride. Many want to stay in their place of comfort thinking they are safe.

I AM their safety – Only ME. All must come to Me for refuge and marching orders. It’s not a to-do list. It’s a heart change. Full submission and trust in Me. Don’t forget Who I AM. Get to know Who I AM. I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other answer but Me. Turn and find grace and real peace in My will. It’s not about comfort but empowerment to walk out My will.

I AM with you 100%, 24/7. I will not leave you. Look to Me. I AM leading you out of the darkness of this storm into the Light of Kingdom living. True peace, true comfort is only found in My will.

Tell them, daughter, tell them.

I don’t know why I never posted it, but with this prompting, I am posting it now. For months He’s been telling me that we were headed to a very rocky season. It will be short-lived and the other side will be glorious.  May this be an encouragement to you.
