At sunset tonight, Day 3 of Hanukkah begins.  If life is squeezing in to overwhelm you, light your candles and remember Who lives in you.  The Light of the world lives in us and NOTHING can overwhelm His Light. (John 1:5b)

For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

 For God, who said, “Let there be LIGHT in the darkness,” has made us understand that it is the brightness of His glory that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. But this precious treasure-this LIGHT and power that now shines within us –is held in a perishable container, that is, in our weak bodies. Everyone can see that the glorious power within must be from God and is not our own.

Thank You Father that Your Light lives in us daily by Your Holy Spirit.  Thank You that You are our Temple cleanser.  You are our Temple illuminator.  When we give our lives to You, we open our hearts to be washed clean with Your blood and set afire with Your Spirit. Our lives are taken out of the hands of the enemy and rededicated to You, our Creator and King.  We praise You the Light of the world. ♥
